On May 26 and 27, the graduation ceremonies for postgraduate and undergraduate students of class of 2019 were held respectively. The leadership team, faculty representatives, alumni representatives, students and guests of LUSM attended the events. The ceremonies were chaired by Chengfu Yao, party secretary of LUSM.

Dean Wensheng He extended congratulations to 325 undergraduate students and 529 postgraduate students for their academic achievements and the beginning of the next phase of their life. He reviewed the success made by the students and said that the class of 2019 have witnessed the great progress made by the school, the university and the country in the past years. He hopes that they can strive to be man of kindness, honesty, courage and modesty; keep learning, pursue excellence and practice social responsibility; shape a soul with depth, breadth, height and warmth. On the occasion of LZU’s 110^th birthday and LUSM’s 15^th birthday, Dean He asked all the graduates to continue to follow and involve in the development of the school and the university.

Professor Jianming Bai and Xuhua Wei congratulated the students on behalf of the faculty; alumni Lei Wang sent her best wishes to them; Xukang Tang, Liping Zhao, Liang Li, Jusheng Yang and Xinhong Wang, representing graduates delivered speeches expressing gratitude and aspiration.
