On May 24, the Academic Degree Commission of the State Council has released "The 2018 List of Newly Added and Revoked Academic Degrees in Degree-conferring Entities in China". LUSM is authorized to confer the Doctoral Program in Business Administration.

Upon the authorization of this new doctoral program, LUSM is marching forward into a brand new development stage. It is now a school offering a full range of undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral degrees both in public administration and business administration, forming a new development pattern driven by two wheels.

Since the founding of the School in 2004, LUSM has always taken discipline construction as the priority. Regarding the newly authorized doctoral program, it is a recognition to our achievements made in talent training, scientific research, as well as faculty development, which cannot be talked about without the diligent work and sincere efforts of all faculty members, staffs, and students. LUSM will carefully plan and carry out this doctoral program in Business Administration, keep the training quality on an excellent level, and work hard to further enhance the education strength of the School.

According to the latest List, there are 489 academic degree programs in 182 degree-conferring entities scattering in 29 provinces being revoked, including some doctoral programs; and 218 academic degrees in 147 degree-conferring entities covering 28 provinces being added.
