“Meeting with LUSM Leaders” is a problem-solving oriented routine for each semester, aiming to bridge students with school top leaders. The meetings for 2022 spring semester fall on Apr. 26 and Apr. 30, with the Dean and CPC Party Secretary of LUSM respectively.

On the afternoon of Apr.26, He Wensheng, Dean of LUSM met with student representatives on Yuzhong Campus, together with Associate Dean Zhao Yanhai, student advisors, and teaching secretaries. He reminded students to be alert of telecoms fraud, and answered questions from students in regard of internship schedules, course arrangement, course-evaluation system, policies on admission to postgraduate studies on recommendation, student activities, student-faculty exchanges platform, and so on. On the basis of all questions asked by students present the meeting, He assured them that the leaders team will think over and try the best to keep the teaching and student management work on an excellent level.

On the morning of Apr. 30, Liu Yajun, Party Secretary of LUSM met with student representatives on Yuzhong Campus, together with student advisor Huo Da. Liu conveyed main points of Lanzhou University to study and implement the spirit of the sixth plenary session of the 19th Communist Party of China Central Committee, and the spirit of the talent work conference and undergraduate admission work conference of Lanzhou University. Then Liu led a study on President Xi Jinping’s speech delivered in the inspection on Renmin University of China on Apr.25. Liu and students also had in-depth discussions on several topics, such as improving employment rate, furthering study rate, passing rate of CET-4 and CET-6, teaching reform, courses optimization, and so on.
